
Covid-19 National Pandemic.

As the covid-19 pandemic has reached the shores of South Africa. On the 6 March 2020 the WHO(World health organizations announced South Africa's first Corona virus case. On the 11 March 2020, the Minister of health announced to South Africa that there is 6 cases recorded of Covid-19.
On the 23rd of March 2020, President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that the country will be on lockdown. Normal day-to-day activities will be halted. All South Africans were instructed to be in doors and stay at home to alleviate further spread of Covid-19. Only health workers, members of the SANDF, SAPS, JMPD, and the pharmaceutical industry will remain open, which have been recognized as essential workers. Also supermarkets and small food outlets will remain open so the public can get enough food for their families.
